Verano mío/ My summer

Es increíble pero pasa lo mismo cada verano. Ando en mi mundo, a veces en la Luna, a veces en la Tierra, salto, corro, camino, manejo por aquí y por allá….la la la, los días son largos, asoleados, a veces calurosos y húmedos, la la la, ando en chorts, la la, ando con playera de manga corta, la la, me pinto las uñas de los pies, ando en sandalias, la la la, y así pasa el tiempo cuando-------------------¡ahhhh! ¡¡¡No!!! ¡¡ No puede ser!! Las hojas…..hay hojas anaranjadas, hojas rojas, una parte de los árboles verdes, una parte va cambiando, y todavía es agosto….AGOSTO, VERANO…verano……¿sí?

Sé que todo cambia, es lo único con que puedes contar, el cambio….¿tiene sentido esto? Bueno, no importa, lo importante es que, entiendo que tengo que aceptar lo que no puedo cambiar, y también aceptar los cambios, así es la vida, ya cuando me acostumbré a este tiempo va a cambiar y lo único que puedo hacer es ¡cambiarme! Ir a otro lado donde el verano dura más tiempo.

O quedarme aquí y sacar mi suéter.

My summer

It’s amazing but it happens every summer. I’m going around wrapped up in my world, sometimes daydreaming, sometimes with my feet on the ground, I skip, I run, I walk, I drive here and there…la la la, the days are long, sunny, sometimes hot and humid, la la la, I go around in shorts, la la, I go around in a short-sleeved t-shirt, la la, I paint my toenails, I go around in sandles, la la la, and so time passes when------------------ahhhhh! No!!! It can’t be!!!!! The leaves…there are orange and red leaves on parts of the green trees, they are changing and it’s still August….AUGUST, SUMMER…summer…isn’t it?

I know everything changes, change is the only thing that you can count on, does that make sense? Well, it doesn’t matter, the important thing is that I understand that I have to accept what I can’t change and also accept the changes, that’s life, just when I got used to this weather it’s going to change and the only thing I can do is move! Go somewhere else where summer is longer.

Or stay here and take out a sweater.
